
I can't feel my legs anymore... are they still there?

On Saturday, I follow Moo reluctantly with MCC (Mong cha cha) to a cycling expedition at the East Coast Park. I almost wanted to call it off as the sky threatened to cry. But I was more afraid of the wrath of Moo, if I had cancelled and it didn't rain. *dodge frying pan

We booked for 4 hours. Buy 1 free 1, so total of SGD12.00 for 4 hours. I even get a front basket for free (to put my sling bag) and no, it's not sissy and it doesn't look like I am going to market to buy vegetables. *narrow eyes..

The 4 hours should have cued me, I thought we are going for a leisurely ride around East Coast Park ogling handsome men, pretty women and hairy dogs but Moo was more adventurous than that. We actually cycled from Big Splash all the way to Changi Village although at time I thought we are cycling all the way to Johor Bharu. The plan was to have dinner at Changi Village and cycle back. Cycling was total different kettle of fish from running. Don't tell me, if I can run, then I can cycle. That is equivalent to saying if I can walk then I can fly.

However regret that the Changi Village dinner didn't materialize due to my lack of stamina and muscle. It did fuel me when my stamina ran out to continue cycling and don't give up. We were so close but my left and right hip have started to have a sharp pain consistently not to mention my fleshly butt started to feel flat. We could still made it but cycling back might be impossible when my muscle cool down so reluctantly we call it quits and cycle back. SO SAD....~~~ and disappointed with myself.

The trip back had me cycled furiously so that we don't get fined due to exceeded time limit. The fast pace also made me forgot my pain but all the gas ran out when we made it back to Big Splash. My legs were like jelly by the time we returned our bikes, I can barely walk straight. Moo hazarded we probably cycled more than 40 km already and she don't feel a thing, tomorrow can still resume gym together with MCC. SALUTE! TABIK!

Now I am limping, favoring my left leg due to the right hip is painful every time I lifted my right leg, be it walking, climbing stairs or wearing my underwear. Seriously, I had to arrange my underwear on the floor and step into the hole and pull it up. I was quite happy that I thought of this ingenious workaround until it's time to wear my pants. Sad to say, same method cannot work. Still have to lift right leg up to wear pants... [T_T] and I don't have any skirts or dress to wear for home.

Moo also reminded me I have signed up 2 weeks worth of gym trial and we are expected to go for Step Class on Tuesday. Shall I be happy or alarmed?

Hope tomorrow I will get better.

so now I know how Botak wore his underwear when he sprained his back last year ... tsk tsk tsk
eh no leh, he sprain his back and cannot bend down... so my method wont work on him
so he wear either diaper-like underwear (if it exists) or NOTHING!!!
eh..piggy...dun la so khua-chiong oh... hahaha...:p anyway, the 2nd cycling session u did very well!! BIG STAR for u.. hehe..
